Esmae Oehler, Master’s Level Graduate Intern

Esmae is a pre-licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor currently completing her Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Fairleigh Dickinson University in Florham Park. She earned her Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Muhlenberg College, where she was a member of the women's volleyball team and served as team captain for three years. In addition to her graduate studies, Esmae serves as a Graduate Assistant in the Athletic Department's Compliance Office at Fairleigh Dickinson University.

She is especially passionate about working with adolescents and young adults as they navigate anxiety, life transitions, relationship concerns, self-esteem, and other challenges during this important stage of life. Esmae hopes to create a safe, supportive, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel heard, valued, and understood. She views the therapeutic relationship as the foundation for meaningful change and enjoys collaborating with clients to build on their strengths and work toward their personal goals.

Outside of the counseling office, Esmae enjoys reading, traveling, spending time with her family, friends, and cavapoo, playing volleyball, working out, and relaxing at the Jersey Shore.
